Amjed Ullah Khan Taken Into Custody By Vikarabad Police
Vikarabad/Hyderabad, Sept 21 (Maxim News) Majlis Bachao Tehreek spokesperson Amjed Ullah Khan was taken into preventive custody by Vikarabad police on Sunday while he was on way to Kodangal mandal following reports of demolition of a darga and graveyards.
The MBT leader who was on way to Kodangal along with a couple of party workers in a car was stopped at Chengamol by a police party. He was then taken into custody by the police and shifted to the police station.
Amjedullah Khan said the authorities had demolished a graveyard wall, several graves and a dargah in the Kondangal on Saturday night.
He said that the Congress government after coming to power is demolishing mosques, graveyards and darga under the pretence of developmental activities.
The Vikarabad police had tightened security in districts, especially in the minority dominated pockets. The AIMIM local district leaders were also placed under preventive arrest in the district. (Maxim News)
