Drugs Seized From Goa To Hyderabad Travel Bus At Zaheerabad Check Post
Zaheerabad/Hyderabad, Oct 3 (Maxim News) Police have seized a large quantity of drugs near Zaheerabad in Sangareddy district. Excise officials have seized Rs. 50 lakh worth of Nitro Zephum, which was being transported from Goa to Hyderabad in a travel bus.
The officers who conducted inspections near the Zaheerabad check post on Thursday (October 2) night seized a large quantity of drugs.
The police seized Nitro Zephum worth Rs. 50 lakh and arrested the accused. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. Full details are yet to be known, the government is taking strict measures to end the drug epidemic. Despite conducting surprise raids and curbing drugs here and there, the miscreants are involved in smuggling in some form.
Meanwhile, on September 30, the police arrested a gang transporting ganga in DCM in Abdullapurmet under Rachakonda Copmmissionerate.
They were transporting ganja in cement bags. Ganja worth Rs. 6 crores was seized from them. Maheshwaram police and SOT police conducted a joint operation and the police arrested the key accused who were transporting ganga. (Maxim News)
