Cyberabad Police Organizes Open House for Students
Hyderabad, Oct 24 (Maxim News): As part of Police Commemoration Week, an Open House program was held today Friday at the Cyberabad Parade Grounds to educate students about policing and public safety.
The event was inaugurated by DCP Srujana Karnam of the Women and Child Safety Wing (W&CSW), Cyberabad.
Addressing the students, DCP Srujana Karnam urged them to focus not only on academics but also on understanding social issues and the role of police in maintaining law and order.
DCP said every student should know how a police station functions and how the police work to ensure public safety.
Around 550 students from Sunshine Global School, Indian People School, Sri Goutham High School, and other schools from five zones within Cyberabad limits participated in the event.
The Bomb Disposal Team demonstrated bomb detection and disposal equipment, including the bomb suit, bomb blanket, vehicle search mirror, and various metal detectors. Sniffer dogs showcased their explosive detection skills, while teams explained the use of advanced tools like NLJD and FOSS.
The event also featured a band drill, horse-riding display by the Mounted Police, and a Silent Drill by the Special Party, offering students a unique glimpse into police life.
The event saw the active participation of CAR Headquarters ADCP Shameer, CAR Hqtrs ACP Arun Kumar, W& CSW Inspector Yadaiah, AHTU Inspector James Babu, MTO I RI Prasanth Babu, MTO II RI Veeresalingam, Stores RI Nagaraju Reddy, Estate Office RI Himakar, BD Team RI Nagaraju, Special Party Admin RI Jangaiah, and other officers.
