Air Hostess Dies by Suicide in Rajendranagar, Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Oct 28: A tragic incident occurred in Rajendranagar on Monday night, where an air hostess allegedly died by suicide. Police have taken possession of the body and launched an investigation into the incident.

Police Begin Probe into Rajendranagar Air Hostess Suicide

According to police sources, the deceased has been identified as Jahnavi, a native of Jammu, who was working as an air hostess with IndiGo Airlines.

She had been residing in the Rajendranagar area of Hyderabad.

Preliminary reports suggest that Jahnavi had attended a party with friends on Monday night. On Tuesday afternoon, she was found hanging in her room.

Upon receiving information, Rajendranagar police reached the spot and shifted the body for post-mortem examination.

Officials have registered a case and are investigating to determine the reasons behind the incident.

Police are examining her phone and questioning friends who were with her the previous night.

The case has drawn attention to mental health challenges among aviation professionals, with authorities urging individuals facing distress to seek timely help.
