Delhi/Internet/Hyderabad, June 19 (Maxim News): With the NEET UG-2026 retest approaching, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has taken a key step. It has launched an official WhatsApp service for students. At the same time, it has issued warnings not to believe in fake SMSes and emails related to the exam.
NTA has launched an official WhatsApp with the number +91 78279 80287. This account named ‘National Testing Agency’ will have a blue tick. The NTA stated that all the updates related to the exam, along with the details of the candidates’ examination centers, will come from this number. It has asked candidates not to trust information coming from this name without a blue tick. It has advised them to be vigilant in these matters, such as asking for OTPs, personal details, payments related to candidates. Along with WhatsApp notifications, it has also revealed that candidates are also being sent reminder SMSes will come only from the sender ID NICPEP and emails from no-reply.neet.nta@nic.in. On this occasion, students were reminded that the admit cards issued for the examination on May 3rd are not valid for re-examination. (Maxim News)
