He said that Chhath Puja is celebrated with immense joy and devotion by the people of Bihar. The Prime Minister further accused the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) of belittling the festival for political advantage. He alleged that these parties were indulging in divisive politics instead of supporting Bihar’s cultural pride.

He remarked that those who had “looted the railways” in the past were now claiming to bring progress to Bihar but had failed to deliver meaningful development.

Modi also alleged that “Jungle Raj” still prevailed in the state under RJD’s influence, with “RJD goons” reportedly going to showrooms and stealing vehicles.

Through his speech, the Prime Minister sought to contrast his government’s development agenda and respect for Bihar’s traditions with what he described as the opposition’s disregard for the state’s cultural and social identity.
