Telangana Police Officers Win National Awards for Excellence

Hyderabad, Nov 1 (Maxim News): The Telangana Police have once again earned national recognition for their exceptional performance. The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the list of recipients for the Kendriya Griha Mantri Dakshata Medal – 2025, honoring police officers and personnel across India for their excellence in Special Operations, Investigation, and General Service categories.

According to the orders issued by Union Home Ministry Deputy Secretary D.K. Ghosh on Friday, officers serving in the Intelligence, Counter Intelligence, and Special Intelligence Bureau wings of the Telangana Police Department have been selected for these prestigious awards.

Among the awardees are Head Constables Akepogu Lakshmana Rao and Gibimon Jacob from the Telangana Counter Intelligence (CISEL). Both officers received the Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in the Special Operations category for their key role in anti-terror operations conducted in coordination with other states.
