Revanth Orders Cabinet To Treat Jubilee Hills Bypoll As Do-or-Die

- Revanth Reddy links government’s image to Jubilee Hills by-election outcome
Hyderabad, Nov 3 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed his cabinet ministers to treat the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election as a do-or-die battle. He cautioned them against complacency, stressing that the result of this poll will determine the image and credibility of the Congress government in Telangana. Revanth reportedly told his ministers that the outcome of the by-election would reflect not just on him but on the entire ministry.
Revanth Reddy hosted a lunch meeting near his camp office, where he reviewed the Jubilee Hills campaign strategy for more than an hour and a half. During the discussion, the Chief Minister underlined the importance of coordination at every level of campaigning. He also emphasized that the party high command is closely monitoring the activities of ministers, MLAs, and corporation chairmen overseeing the respective divisions. “Whether I win or lose in this election, it will not affect me alone as the CM. This will create an image of the Congress government among the people across the state. If this election does not yield a positive result, it will damage me and the system. This election should be taken on a do-or-die basis,” he said.
Revanth expressed impatience over what he described as a lack of vigor among some ministers in countering opposition criticism and handling the social media narrative. He reportedly instructed them to strengthen their outreach, engage actively with voters in every booth and basti, and rebut misinformation being spread by rival parties. The Chief Minister advised that immediate responses should be planned to counter the allegations made by BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao and to neutralize any sentiment the opposition might try to exploit.
The meeting was attended by State Congress affairs in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, AICC Secretary Viswanatham, PCC President B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and several cabinet ministers, including Uttam Kumar Reddy, Damodar Rajanarsimha, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Vivek Venkataswamy, Konda Surekha, Jupally Krishna Rao, Vakati Srihari, Adluri Laxman Kumar, and Azharuddin.
