Hyderabad: Hyderabad marked a historic occasion as Vice President Radhakrishnan visited the city for the first time since assuming office. The Vice President was joined by Governor Jishnu Dev Verma at Raj Bhavan where Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Union Ministers Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay, and other prominent leaders attended the Governor’s tea party. Earlier, the Governor, Chief Minister, and Vice President Radhakrishnan were given a warm welcome at Begumpet airport. This visit signifies the Vice President’s inaugural trip to Telangana after taking office.
State Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Ponnam Prabhakar, along with various public representatives, the Chief Secretary to the government, and other top officials were present to greet the Vice President at the airport and later at Raj Bhavan. Their presence underscored the significance of the visit and the unity among state leaders in formally welcoming the country’s second-highest constitutional authority to Hyderabad.
