The minister expressed anger over minors being armed and sent into forests for Maoist activities. He cautioned the Maoists against falling for the deception of urban Naxals, warning that it leads to loss of lives. He said, “urban Naxals are holding jalsa with their family members in the cities. They are doing austerity to whichever party is in power, accumulating assets and moving around in cars.” He added that innocent people are misled and end up roaming forests with guns, unable to find food, facing death.

The minister called on Maoists to abandon violence and join society with good ideas, urging them to serve the people. He stated there are only four more months left for Maoists to re-enter mainstream society and claimed that Maoism would be eradicated by March 2026. He further said that encounters under the name of Operation Kagar will continue until Maoists surrender.
