Inmates Of Sabarmati Jail Attack Jilani Sparks Tension

Hyderabad, Nov. 19 (Maxim News): Three inmates attacked terror accused Syed Ahmed Mehiyauddin Abdul Khader Jilani inside Sabarmati Central Jail.

Police said the assault created sudden tension in the jail. They noted that Nilesh Sharma, who is serving a sentence in a theft case, led the attack. Two other inmates joined him. They hit Jilani on his nose and near his eyes. Officials said the attackers claimed they acted to show patriotism. They said the claim did not justify violence inside a secure prison.
