Midnight Chaos In Hyderabad As Tipper Lorry Loses Control After Brake Failure

Hyderabad: Panic swept through the area late Tuesday night after a speeding tipper lorry reportedly suffered a brake failure and crashed near the Musarambagh–Malakpet Aasman Gadh Road, close to Capital Restaurant.

Eyewitnesses said the lorry, travelling at high speed, suddenly lost control and first rammed into the road divider. Moments later, it veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with another lorry and a bus approaching from the opposite direction. The impact of the crash startled motorists and residents nearby.

Despite the intensity of the accident, the driver escaped without injuries, and police confirmed that no pedestrians or commuters were harmed.

The collision triggered a massive traffic jam, leaving vehicles stranded on both sides of the busy stretch. Traffic police promptly arrived at the spot, cleared the wreckage and restored vehicle movement.

Officials have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the brake failure, and whether overspeeding or mechanical negligence contributed to the mishap.
