Prime Minister Narendra Modi told NDA MPs that no law should trouble any citizen and that every rule must help people. He stressed this point during an NDA parliamentary party meeting in Delhi. He said the country has moved into a full “Reform Express” phase where changes are happening fast and with clear intent.
Hyderabad: Modi said his government’s reforms aim to make life easy for people. He said they are not limited to economic or revenue matters. He said the goal is to remove daily hurdles so citizens can grow. He also said the government wants to end long forms, cut paperwork, and make services reach people at their homes.
Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju briefed reporters after the meeting. He said Modi shared clear guidelines with MPs. Rijiju said, “I want to stress that the Narendra Modi government’s ‘Reform Express’ has started to move. It will not stop. This reform is to change the lives of every citizen.” He added that reforms must improve life for the common person. He said, “The Prime Minister has stressed that whatever law is framed, it should have no provision that is harmful or causes inconvenience to any citizen.”
Rijiju said Modi wants rules to improve the system and not harass people. He quoted the Prime Minister saying that laws must not trouble anyone without reason. Modi asked MPs to highlight real problems that people face so that the Reform Express can reach every home. Sources said he reminded MPs that the government trusted people by allowing self-certification. He said this process worked for ten years without misuse.
The meeting also celebrated the NDA’s win in the Bihar Assembly elections. Modi was garlanded by JD(U) leader Sanjay Jha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha chief Upendra Kushwaha. Senior leaders Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, and J P Nadda attended the meeting held in the Parliament House complex.
