Cyber Crime Police Arrests YouTuber for Child Abuse Videos
Hyderabad, Jan. 7 (Maxim News): Cyber Crime Police arrested Kambeti Satya Murthy for creating and uploading child sexual abuse content on YouTube.
The 39-year-old from Visakhapatnam ran the channel “Viral Hub” (@ViralHub007). He targeted minors aged 15 to 17 with obscene interviews.
Police registered the case on October 16, 2025. They acted suo motu after spotting abusive videos online.
Technical analysis confirmed violations of child protection and cyber laws. Investigators traced digital evidence to the accused.
A team led by Inspector S. Naresh cracked the case under ACP Shiva Maruthi’s supervision.
Satya Murthy started his channel in 2018. He first interviewed influencers with vulgar language to gain views.
Later, he escalated by questioning minors sexually. In one video, he induced two children to kiss.
This exploited them for monetization on YouTube and Instagram (@Viralhub_007). Such acts breach POCSO Act and IT Act provisions.
Police warn against exploiting minors online. Offenses include obscene interviews or sharing abusive content. Punishments are strict under Indian laws. Report incidents via helpline 1930 or www.cybercrime.gov.in. Citizens must act swiftly against child abuse videos, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crime, Hyderabad said in a media communique.
