Telangana Drug Control Key Warnings To The Public

Hyderabad, Jan 10 (Maxim News): Telangana Drug Control has issued a key warning to the public. It has ordered that the use of Allmont-Kid syrup should be stopped immediately. Allmont-Kid syrup is used for problems like allergies, fever, and asthma in children. However, this syrup has been found to be contaminated with toxic ethylene glycol. Telangana Drug Control has issued this warning based on a report from the Central Drug Standard Control Organization in Kolkata.

TGCA has advised anyone using this syrup to stop using it immediately. It has also advised that the information about the use of the syrup should be given to the nearest drug control officer. It has advised people to be more vigilant as it is a syrup used for children. It is said that there is a risk of kidney problems and neurological damage due to ethylene glycol. (Maxim News)
