BC JAC Protest In Miryalaguda Over Reduction In Reservation

Miryalaguda/Hyderabad, Jan 19 (Maxim News): The Congress government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, which did injustice to the BCs in the Gram Panchayat elections, has now cheated them by not implementing 42 percent reservation in the municipal elections as well, said BC JAC Miryalaguda town president Bantu Venkateshwarlu Mudiraj.

Protesting the government’s action, the BC JAC held a protest with black masks in front of the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule statue in Miryalaguda town on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that all parties are cheating the BCs. He said that the BCs, who constitute more than half of the population, are politically and economically backward. He said that political parties are using and abandoning the BCs. He said that a large-scale movement will be launched to achieve 42 percent reservation for BCs in educational, employment, economic, political and social sectors.

Therefore, all BCs should contest the general seats on a large scale, regardless of party affiliation. They want to give BCs’ votes to BCs and get their share in proportion to the population. BC JAC Miryalaguda constituency president Gundeboina Nageshwarao Yadav, BC Welfare Association district vice-president Yarrabelli Durgayya Rajaka, BC Youth Association city secretary Doneti Sekhar Mudiraj, K.
