Telangana Rising Delegation Reaches in Zurich for WEF 2026
Telangana Rising delegation | Hyderabad, Jan. 20: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy led the Telangana Rising delegation to Zurich, Switzerland, to attend the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos.
Members of the Telangana diaspora gave the delegation a warm reception on arrival at Zurich Airport.
The Chief Minister Revanth Reddy travelled with Minister for Revenue and Housing and Information and Public Relations Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, along with senior state officials.
Meanwhile, Minister for IT, Electronics and Communications, Industries and Commerce, and Legislative Affairs Duddilla Sridhar Babu had already reached Davos ahead of the delegation.
Telangana Rising Delegation Begins WEF Engagements
At the Zurich Airport, the Indian Ambassador to Switzerland, Mridul Kumar, formally received Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Overseas Telangana residents also welcomed the delegation, reflecting strong engagement from the diaspora.
On the first day of the World Economic Forum meetings, the Telangana Rising delegation is scheduled to hold discussions with several industrialists.
The team will also host a special closed door programme for top executives and representatives of leading global companies.
The event will focus on presenting the Telangana Rising 2047 roadmap and the state’s future development priorities.
During Davos 2026, the delegation plans to showcase Telangana’s long term growth vision, policy framework, and investor friendly environment.
These efforts align with the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document, which the state launched in December 2025. The meetings aim to attract global investors and strengthen international partnerships across multiple sectors.
