Hyderabad: A four-year-old girl, Varalakshmi, was killed after an under-construction wall collapsed on her in Kukatpally on Saturday.
According to sources, the wall was being constructed on a government-owned piece of land in Yellamma Banda near Mahankali Nagar in Kukatpally.
As per initial reports, the child succumbed to her injuries by the time she was pulled out of the rubble. Relatives and locals have protested at the site, with Serilingampally legislator A Gandhi and police officials reaching the spot.
