LeGazole Wins FICCI Award For Best Green Product

Hyderabad, Jan. 23: LeGazole Plus Eco Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has won the FICCI award for Best Green Product in the MSME category for its innovation DECARB, a bio based fuel conditioner.

The award was presented at the FICCI Chemical and Petrochemical Awards 2025, recognising solutions that support sustainable industrial growth.

DECARB was developed to reduce fuel consumption and emissions without requiring engine modifications.

The product aligns with India’s decarbonisation goals and was created under the Make in India initiative. Mohammed Abdul Mannan, researcher and innovator in petrochemicals, received the award on behalf of the company.

DECARB recognised for emission reduction impact

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry cited DECARB’s measurable impact across multiple sectors.

The fuel conditioner improves combustion in diesel engines using bio based additives. As a result, it delivers fuel savings of 7 to 12 percent and reduces particulate matter by up to 60 percent. It also lowers carbon dioxide emissions by up to 12 percent.

DECARB has undergone testing by IIT Hyderabad, BITS Pilani, and NABL accredited laboratories. It has also been trialled by public and private sector organisations.

At Singareni Collieries Company Limited, large scale trials showed 12 percent diesel savings and a reduction of 708 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.

India currently imports over 85 percent of its crude oil requirements. Diesel and furnace oil remain major sources of pollution. DECARB offers a cost neutral solution that industries can adopt using existing engines.

The product also supports national goals such as Net Zero 2070, biofuel blending targets, and ESG compliance.

LeGazole Plus Eco Solutions, headquartered in Hyderabad, focuses on developing eco friendly fuel technologies that support India’s energy security and climate objectives.
