Harish Rao Demanded CBI Inquiry Into The Coal Scam

Hyderabad, Jan 25 (Maxim News): Former minister and BRS MLA T.Harish Rao said that production has fallen since the Congress came to power. He said that coal sales have decreased. He said that the scams in Singareni are affecting the entire organization. I am not saying this.. He clarified that Singareni statistics are telling the truth. ‘Production has fallen due to the exclusion of experienced contractors during Revanth Reddy’s rule. During BRS’s rule, we achieved 50 MT in 2021, 62 MT in 2022, and 70 million tons in 2023. When Congress came to power, it decreased to 69 MT in 2024-25. Now in 2025-26 (in the last 9-10 months), it has decreased to only 43 million tons.’ Harish Rao said. If KCR puts Singareni, which was in loss, on the path of profits… Revanth Reddy has tarnished Singareni with a scam of 6000 crores.

Harish Rao reminded that if Chandrababu Naidu stopped, KCR restored dependent jobs and gave jobs to 19,500 people. He said that half of the current 42,000 people are legacy employees. KCR used to hold a medical board every month. But he said that the Congress government had held the board only twice in two years. He said that when 55 people came in the first board, only 5 people were unfit, and when 123 people came in the second board, only 23 people were unfit. He was angry that by putting corries in the medical board, legacy jobs were being weakened. He said that corporate medical treatment was stopped for Singareni workers in hospitals like Yashoda and KIMS.. and they are trying to go to NIMS and Osmania.

Harish Rao questioned whether KCR gave houses to workers and made them owners… did Congress give a plot to anyone? He said that while the total profit earned by Singareni was 6,394 crores, only 2,360 crores was shown as profit. He questioned what happened to the rest of the money. He criticized that the workers’ bonuses were being cut and that money was being used for football matches and the Chief Minister’s campaigns. He questioned what happened to the 6,000 crores set aside for the development of Singareni in the past two years. He said that the scam will also be exposed soon.

Harish Rao questioned why the Center is silent despite such a big scam. He accused the BJP and Congress of conspiring to bankrupt Singareni and privatize it. He demanded that all the tenders for OB Works and Solar Power Plants, which were finalized with the site visit certificate clause, be immediately canceled. He demanded that an inquiry be conducted into all the tenders involving corruption, including the Naini Gold Block tender. Medical boards should be held every month immediately and hereditary jobs should be provided. Otherwise, he warned that thousands of workers would besiege the Singareni building. He demanded that a white paper be released on the mails and complaints of the companies that refused. The minutes of the meeting held when the tender terms were changed should be revealed. Bhatti Garu… if you are sincere, you should demand a sitting judge or CBI inquiry into this entire coal scam. We will not give up until the hard work of the Singareni workers is protected.
