Raja Singh | Hyderabad, Jan. 26: A threatening letter allegedly sent by an unidentified person to Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh has triggered concern over his security in the city.

The letter reportedly reached the MLA’s residence in Hyderabad on Sunday evening.

According to sources, the letter was issued in the name of a person identified as Abdul Hafeez and contained serious threats to the MLA’s life. The contents of the letter are said to be highly provocative and alarming in nature.

The sender reportedly claimed that police could not take any action against him and openly challenged law enforcement authorities. This has raised serious security concerns, especially as the letter was delivered directly to the MLA’s residence.

Singh has earlier received threats through phone calls, both from within the country and from abroad.

However, this incident has drawn attention due to the direct delivery of the letter to his home.

Supporters of the MLA are preparing to lodge a formal complaint with the police.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad city police are expected to begin an investigation to trace the origin of the letter and identify the person behind the threat.
