Badrinath-Kedarnath/Hyderabad, Jan 26 (Maxim News): Only Hindus will be allowed to enter the famous pilgrimage sites of Badrinath and Kedarnath temples in North India. The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee has proposed to ban the entry of non-Hindus into these temples. These proposals will be approved in the upcoming meeting of the temple committee board.
Badrinath-kadarnath Temple Committee Chairman Hemant Dwivedi confirmed this. He said that the same entry rule will be applicable in these two temples as well as in other temples under the committee’s jurisdiction. Non-Hindus have already been banned from entering Gangotri Dham.
A unanimous decision was taken in this regard in the meeting of the Sri Gangotri Temple Committee held on Sunday. In this context, proposals have also been made regarding the entry of Badrinath-Kedarnath temples. However, it has not yet been decided when these new rules will be implemented. (Maxim News)
