Security And Stability For The World With India: Stated By President Of European Commission
Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 26 (Maxim News): European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen attended the 77th Republic Day celebrations of India as the chief guest. She participated in the celebrations along with President Murmu and Prime Minister Modi.
Later, she shared her thoughts on the occasion. She said that participating in India’s Republic Day is the greatest honor in her life. She said that the world will get peace, prosperity and stability with the victory of India. She said that it will be good for everyone. It is known that along with Ursula, European Council President Antonio Costa also attended the celebrations as the chief guest.
First, Ursula and Antonio Costa, along with President Murmu, received a guard of honour from the President’s Guard at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Later, they reached the venue set up at Kartavyapath in a special buggy along with the President. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi extended a grand welcome to the President and the chief guests. After the national flag hoisting ceremony, the dignitaries watched the parade.
There is a lot of interest in the summit between India and the EU (European Union) tomorrow. The free trade agreement that India will sign with the EU is generating immense interest. The EU is already a major trading partner for India. EU-India trade crossed $135 billion in the financial year 2023-24. Market sources predict that bilateral trade will reach new heights after the agreement. (Maxim News)
