The developments are not limited to the private sector. Employees of central organisations, including those linked to the Indian Embassy, have also left Bangladesh. Meanwhile, the nine NTPC engineers were working on deputation at the Rampal Thermal Power Plant. The plant is run by the Bangladesh India Friendship Power Company. The arrangement follows cooperation between India and Bangladesh.

However, amid the ongoing situation, the nine Indian employees reportedly left Bangladesh and reached India on Saturday. Reports said they left without taking permission from authorities in Bangladesh. It was also reported that they did not issue any prior notice before leaving. Later, when officials checked attendance, they questioned the absence of these employees. It then became known that they had already returned to India.

Meanwhile, the engineers reportedly entered India through the Bhomra route. The input states that the Indian Embassy had earlier issued an advisory to Indian employees in Bangladesh. The advisory said it was not safe for them to stay there with their families. It also advised them to send their family members back to India. As a result, many employees, including those linked to the Indian Embassy, sent their families to India.

The situation highlights the growing concerns among Indian nationals working in Bangladesh. Therefore, the exit of the NTPC engineers reflects wider safety fears during the ongoing crisis. The issue continues to draw attention as more Indians reassess their stay in the country.
