Bandi Sanjay: House Tax Will Be Increased As Soon As The Elections Are Over
Karimnagar/Hyderabad, Feb 3 (Maxim News): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay alleged that the Congress is planning to increase house taxes in municipalities after the municipal elections are over.
He spoke at the launch of the municipal election campaign in Karimnagar Corporation. He called on people not to vote for the Congress, which has not implemented the six guarantees. He said that in the two years since the Congress government came to power, not a single penny has been given to the corporations and municipalities across the state. They have no right to ask for votes in this election.
He accused the BRS of looting and corruption during its ten year rule. He sarcastically said that voting for the BRS would be like throwing it in the sewer. He criticized the diversion of central funds in the previous government. He expressed confidence that the BJP would win the Karimnagar mayor’s seat this time. He performed puja for the campaign vehicles at the Mahashakti temple. In the evening yesterday, the party sources officially announced the list of 66 candidates contesting on behalf of the BJP in the Karimnagar Corporation. BJP state leaders Manohar Reddy, former mayor Sunil Rao, Kanna krishna and others participated in the campaign program. (Maxim News)
