Asaduddin Owaisi visited Jagtial on Saturday, February 7, as part of the campaign. He said he had come to Jagtial after five years. During his address, he promised to complete the Urdu House building work. He also said he would raise the Nala issue in the Jagtial Ganj area and the establishment of an Urdu House in the Assembly. Therefore, he linked local development concerns with legislative action.

While speaking, Owaisi said that no political party had given leadership to Muslims. He also referred to Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad and said that Azad never mentioned Muslim issues in Parliament. Meanwhile, he continued his criticism of other political parties and their leadership choices. His remarks focused on representation and long pending issues faced by local communities.

Owaisi also spoke about internal issues within the Congress party. He said that both Sanjay and Jeevan Reddy were fighting within the Congress. He then asked when they would fight the BJP again. He further said that Jeevan Reddy or Sanjay would go to KCR in the 2028 elections. These comments came as part of his broader criticism of political alignments in Telangana.

Later, Owaisi spoke about the BJP and its prospects. He said that if Modi and Amit Shah campaigned in Hyderabad, the BJP would not win. He then questioned how the BJP would win in Jagtial. Meanwhile, he accused the RSS and BJP of creating communal conflicts in the country. He also questioned why the BJP did not stop the clashes in Ladakh.

Owaisi further alleged that Prime Minister Modi would remove SC and ST reservations. These remarks added to his sharp attack on the BJP during the campaign. The announcement of an MIM MLA candidate in Jagtial for 2028, therefore, came amid strong political messaging and criticism of rival parties.
