Lotus Surges In Karimnagar: BJP Pushes Back Congress, BRS
Karimnagar/Hyderabad, Feb 13 (Maxim News): The results of Karimnagar Municipal Corporation are becoming interesting in the counting of the exciting municipal elections in Telangana. The counting of votes in this corporation, which has a total of 66 wards, is continuing at a rapid pace. According to the information received so far, the BJP is riding high with a clear lead. The party has already won or is leading in 28 wards and is on track to emerge as the largest party.
While the main rival Congress party is showing its influence in 19 seats, BRS, which was strong in the past, is limited to 13 seats this time and remains in third place. Others/Independents are leading in 2 seats. Since it is a constituency represented by Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, the results achieved by the BJP here have gained political significance.
Currently, heavy security has been arranged at the counting centers. As the results are coming out, excitement is increasing in the ranks of the respective parties. Only when the full results are released will it be clear who will get the mayor’s seat. However, looking at the current trends, there are many chances of the BJP hoisting the flag in Karimnagar.
