MANUU Part Time PhD Last Date Extended

Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University has extended the last date for submission of online application forms for PhD part time programmes in Sponsored and Self financing mode up to February 19, 2026. The university will hold the research admission test as scheduled on February 28.

The extension gives more time to candidates seeking admission in the winter session 2026 at the Hyderabad campus. However, the entrance examination date remains unchanged. Therefore, applicants must complete the process before the revised deadline.

MANUU Part Time PhD Offered Across Multiple Schools

According to Prof. M. Vanaja, Director, Directorate of Admissions, part time PhD programmes are available in several schools. These include School of Commerce and Business Management, School of Sciences, School of Technology, School of Education and Training, School of Mass Communication and Journalism, and School of Languages, Linguistics and Indology in the Department of Hindi.

The programmes are also offered at MANUU Law School and School of Arts and Social Sciences. The departments under Arts and Social Sciences include Political Science, Public Administration, History, Social Work, Sociology and Economics. In addition, H K Sherwani Centre for Deccan Studies is part of the winter session 2026 intake at the Hyderabad campus.

Meanwhile, the university has advised candidates to check details carefully before applying. For eligibility criteria, e prospectus and areas of research, applicants can visit the official university website. For any clarifications, they can send an email to admissionsregular@manuu.edu.in.

The university earlier announced the admission schedule. Now, with the extended last date, candidates have a few more days to submit their applications. However, they must ensure that they complete the formalities before February 19, 2026. The research admission test will then take place on February 28 as planned.
