E Petty case conviction: Mehdipatnam Police Secure Conviction of two
E Petty Case conviction | Hyderabad, Feb. 19: Mehdipatnam Police secured conviction in two E Petty Cases, with a local court sentencing both accused to three days imprisonment.
The XII Special Judicial Magistrate Court delivered the judgment after examining the case filed by Mehdipatnam Police Station.
The accused were identified as Mohammed Faizan, 29, and Mohammad Sameer, 23, both residents of Mallepally.
E Petty Case Conviction | Two Accused Sentenced
According to police, the incident occurred on the intervening night of February 16 and 17 at around 10.30 pm. Officers found the two men moving suspiciously in Mehdipatnam with their faces covered.
When questioned, they allegedly gave evasive replies. Therefore, police shifted them to the station for further inquiry.
Subsequently, officials booked them under Section 61 B of the CP Act. After hearing the case, the court found both accused guilty.
As a result, the court sentenced each of them to three days imprisonment.
In another case, the Kulsumpura Police secured conviction in E-Petty Case No. 446/26 (STC No. 1062/2026) before the IV Special Judicial Magistrate Court.
Accused MD Imtiyaz (40), Auto Driver, R/o Pannipura, Jiyaguda.
Offence On 10-02-2026, the accused assaulted his sister-in-law at her residence in Jiyaguda following a dispute over money.
A case was registered under Section 70(b) CP Act and 115(2) BNS.
The Honโble Court found the accused guilty and sentenced him to five (05) days imprisonment.
