Delhi/Hyderabad, Feb 19 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India is a haven for talent. He said that the youth of the country are showing interest in using artificial intelligence (AI). The ‘India AI Impact Summit’ is being held in the national capital New Delhi. Prime Minister Modi participated in the event on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, Modi (Narendra Modi AI speech) said that this is the world’s largest AI summit.
“The organization of the AI Summit (India AI Impact Summit) will be a source of pride not only for India but also for South Asia. India is constantly introducing new technology. India is a haven for talent. India is becoming an AI hub. AI is a transformative force. If misused, it can lead to destruction. AI is the new confidence and asset of the youth, India. In the early days, there were many doubts about AI. But now AI is being used beneficially by the youth. AI is providing solutions to problems in various sectors,” Modi said.
“India is a hub for state-of-the-art technology. AI capabilities are far from what we think they are. Building human-centric artificial intelligence should be our goal. It is not about what AI does in the coming days, but what we are doing with AI now. Artificial intelligence (AI) is like a double-edged sword. That is why we should use it beneficially. We have seen crises with nuclear material in the past. We have also seen good. Similarly, we should try to do good with AI. AI should not rule us. We should become the ruler of AI,” Modi said.
