TiE Social Impact Launched In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: TiE Hyderabad launched “TiE Social Impact” during a special February edition of its flagship TiE Leadership Series. The event took place at its office in Sandhya Techno 1, Khajaguda, Raidurg, Hyderabad on February 15, 2026. The initiative aims to nurture social enterprises and promote impact led innovation.
The session featured Meera Shenoy, Founder of Youth4Jobs and SwarajAbility. She is widely recognised for her work in building inclusive and sustainable solutions for underserved communities. During the event, she shared insights from her journey in advancing accessibility, innovation, and employment opportunities for marginalised communities, particularly persons with disabilities.
Meanwhile, Murali Kakarla, President of TiE Hyderabad, delivered the opening remarks. He highlighted the organisation’s mission as a leading entrepreneurial network that fosters entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, education, funding, and incubation. He also noted that through its initiatives and events, TiE Hyderabad continues to strengthen the region’s startup and innovation ecosystem.
The TiE Social Impact initiative seeks to build a strong support ecosystem for social entrepreneurs. It will provide structured mentorship, strategic guidance, and access to networks. Therefore, it aims to help scale solutions that address pressing societal challenges. The launch marked a key moment during the Leadership Series.
Addressing more than 100 entrepreneurs, leaders, and ecosystem enablers, Ms Shenoy spoke about leadership with purpose and building resilient social enterprises. She also focused on driving long term impact through innovation and inclusive growth. The session offered useful insights for entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, investors, and changemakers who want to align business success with meaningful societal contribution.
