Constable | Hyderabad, Sept. 21: Telangana Police constable Mutte Chandrasekhar, 35, died by suicide at his house in Musarambagh, police said. He was serving as a constable writer at Amberpet headquarters.
Chandrasekhar allegedly took the extreme step at his residence in Shalivahana Nagar. Police reached the house after receiving information about the incident and began an investigation.
According to the information received by police, Chandrasekhar made a video call to a young woman around midnight. During the call, he allegedly told her that he was going to hang himself.
The woman immediately informed Chaitanyapuri police about the call. Chaitanyapuri police then alerted Malakpet police about the incident.

Malakpet police reached the house after receiving the information. They took possession of the body and began the required investigation.
Police have registered a case in connection with the death. They are also examining the circumstances surrounding the incident.
