Washington/internet/Hyderabad, Feb 21 (Maxim News): Despite the sensational ruling by the Supreme Court of the United States that the tariffs imposed by the US President on countries around the world are invalid, Donald Trump has not relented. He has again imposed 10 percent tariffs on countries around the world. He said that this decision will take effect immediately. Trump has signed the relevant orders to this extent. Trump himself revealed this through his Truth account.
Trump also criticized the US Supreme Court’s ruling on tariffs on countries around the world. He commented on the judges, saying that some in the Supreme Court opposed the tariffs we imposed in a very acceptable manner. They should be ashamed of themselves for this. He said that this is a very ridiculous ruling.
He revealed that the adjustment process related to tariffs has begun. He made it clear that possible steps will be taken to collect more than what was taken in the past. He said that there are many more powerful ways available to them to increase the country’s income. He said that he can impose more tariffs from now on. Trump announced that he is imposing 10 percent tariffs in this order.
Trump also responded to the India-US Trade Deal. He made it clear that the Supreme Court verdict will not have an impact on this trade deal. There will be no change in the deal. He said that India will pay the tariffs. Modi is a great gentleman. He is a much smarter person than his opponents. But he commented that he is deceiving us. That is why we have made this trade deal. According to this, India will pay tariffs to America… but America will not pay tariffs to India.
Meanwhile, White House officials have made it clear that India will also have to pay these 10 percent tariffs. According to the 1977 IEEPA Act, the tariffs imposed by Trump on several countries so far have been canceled by the Supreme Court ruling. The tariffs imposed by Trump will come into effect in their place. Trump imposed these tariffs under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974. This decision must be approved by Congress within 150 days. Otherwise, these tariffs will also be canceled after 150 days. (Maxim News)
