Hyderabad Koti SBI ATM firing case | Hyderabad, Feb. 24: Telangana Police have solved the robbery and firing case that took place at the SBI ATM in the busy Koti area of Hyderabad.
The victim was a businessman from Kerala. Recently, the Task Force team took all the accused into custody. In addition, police recovered a weapon from them.
Earlier, on February 16, police had arrested one of the main accused in Haryana. Based on the information he provided, they searched for another suspect in Uttar Pradesh.
Finally, they caught him today. As a result, all the accused in the case have now been arrested. Meanwhile, police are likely to present them before the media today.
Hyderabad Koti SBI ATM Firing Case
The victim, Rinshad from Kerala, had come to Hyderabad for business. He was staying in Nampally. On January 31, at around 7 am, he went to the SBI Main Branch ATM in Koti to deposit ₹6 lakh. However, the accused opened fire at him and shot two rounds. One bullet hit his leg, and he was injured.
After that, the attackers took away the cash bag and his scooter. Then, they escaped from the spot. Later, police arrested another person from the Old City who had helped the gang by giving them shelter and support for the robbery.
Overall, Telangana Police acted quickly and arrested all those involved in the crime and more details a likely to come up in the media meet. Further investigation is ongoing.
