Setback For Malla Reddy In Supreme Court

Delhi/Hyderabad, Feb 25 (Maxim News): BRS MLA Malla reddy, his son Mahender Reddy and son-in-law Marri Rajasekhar Reddy have suffered a setback from the Supreme Court. They did not get any relief when they approached the Supreme Court in the Jeedimetla land survey matter.  The Supreme Court refused to interfere with the High Court orders.

A person named Sheri Srinivas Reddy has field a petition in the High Court seeking directions to the revenue officials to determine the boundaries of the land in the area of 0.33 guntas, which is part of Survey No. 82/1/EE in jeedimetla.  in his petition, he alleged that Mallareddy and others had jointly constructed commercial complexes on the roadside of that land.

The single judge who took up the matter ordered the authorities to complete the survey as per the law within 45 working days from the date of receipt of the application.  Mallareddy, Rajasekhar Reddy and mahender Reddy challenged the orders of the single judge of the High Court before the division bench.  After hearing the arguments, the two-member bench upheld the single judge’s orders and dismissed the appeal filed by Mallareddy.  The three challenged the High Court’s verdict in the Supreme Court on February 13.  (Maxim News)
