VIDEO | AIMIM Chief Owaisi Targets Modi Govt Over Israel Visit, Minority Issues
Hyderabad, Feb. 27 (Maxim News): Asaduddin Owaisi, President of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen and Hyderabad MP, addressed a massive gathering at the Jalsa-e-Youm-ul-Qur’an held at Masjid-e-Chowk in Hyderabad.
During his speech, Owaisi strongly criticised the policies of the BJP-led central government.
In particular, he questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his visit to Israel.
Asad Owaisi alleged that the Government of India is aligning with forces accused of oppressing Muslims. At the same time, he claimed that the Centre remains silent on atrocities against minorities.
Furthermore, Owaisi condemned the demolition of the Vemulawada Dargah.
Asad Owaisi described it as a deliberate attack on religious freedom. According to him, authorities are selectively targeting minority places of worship under administrative grounds.
Therefore, he warned that such actions send a dangerous message to the community. In addition, Owaisi raised concerns over the rising incidents of hate crimes and mob violence across the country.
Owaisi said attacks against Muslims have increased in recent years. Moreover, he expressed particular concern about incidents reported during the holy month of Ramzan.
Asad Owaisi accused ruling establishments of creating an atmosphere of fear and hatred.
Owaisi also alleged that authorities allow such acts to continue without strict action. As a result, he said minorities feel insecure in several parts of the country.
The public meeting witnessed a large turnout. Supporters listened closely as Owaisi called for unity and constitutional protection of minority rights. (Maxim News)
