During the hearing, Advocate General A. Sudarshan Reddy presented the government’s stand. He said that the government decided to shift prayer halls of other religions in view of the large number of devotees visiting Vemulawada. He stated that the relocation aims to move such structures to another area with more facilities. However, he clarified that the move follows public opinion. He also said that no action has been taken against any religion.

After hearing these arguments, the judge made it clear that counters must be filed. The court further stated that any removal action would remain subject to its orders. Therefore, the matter will continue under judicial review until further directions.
