Hyderabad: BJP leaders from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh attended a workshop in Delhi on the Special Comprehensive Revision of the voter list. The Bharatiya Janata Party organized the meeting at its central office. Party national president Nitin Nabeen chaired the workshop.
The workshop focused on the Special Comprehensive Revision, also known as SIR, of the voter list. Party leaders discussed the ongoing revision process and the role of political parties during the exercise. Meanwhile, the Central Election Commission is conducting SIR in many states.
Leaders from both Telugu states took part in the meeting. From Telangana, the participants included party state president N. Ramchandra Rao, Shashidhar Reddy, and Vemula Ashok. They attended the workshop along with other party leaders from across the country.
From Andhra Pradesh, state president VVN Madhav also attended the workshop. MLA Ramakrishna Reddy participated in the meeting as well. In addition, AP 20 Principles Implementation Committee Chairman Lanka Dinakar took part in the program.
Other leaders who attended the workshop included Malathi Rani, Surendra, and Jelli Madhusudan. The meeting brought together representatives from several regions. Therefore, it provided an opportunity for leaders to discuss the revision process in detail.
During the session, party leaders received guidance on their responsibilities as members of a political party while the Special Comprehensive Revision process is underway. The instructions focused on ensuring responsible participation and coordination during the voter list revision exercise.
The Special Comprehensive Revision is an important process related to the voter list. Therefore, the workshop aimed to prepare party representatives for their role during this exercise. Leaders were briefed on the procedures and expectations linked to the revision.
According to the information shared during the meeting, representatives from 20 states attended the workshop. The participation of leaders from multiple states showed the importance the party attaches to the voter list revision process.
