There is also speculation that he may join the Bharat Rashtra Samithi in the presence of party chief K Chandrashekar Rao on the same day. The rumours gained strength as sources say Jeevan Reddy has been dissatisfied with the Congress party for some time. He reportedly informed the party high command about his concerns several times. However, he did not receive support from the leadership.

The issue reportedly intensified after Sanjay Kumar joined the Congress party. Sanjay Kumar had earlier won the Jagtial seat as a BRS MLA. Since his entry into Congress, Jeevan Reddy has been expressing dissatisfaction. He is reportedly unhappy about the priority given to Sanjay within the party.

Growing dissatisfaction within Congress leadership

According to political discussions in the district, Jeevan Reddy also raised concerns about internal party decisions. He was upset that leaders from his faction did not receive tickets in the previous municipal elections. Moreover, his group reportedly did not receive priority during the municipal chairman selection.
