Hyderabad: The PRASHO Foundation, in association with the Gudlavalleti family, presented the Dr. Aashrai Sai Venkat Gudlavalleti Memorial Award in Neurological Sciences to Dr. Lokesh Saini at a function held in Gachibowli. The award recognises his contributions to research and clinical care in pediatric neurology.
Dr. Lokesh Saini serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Pediatric Neurology, at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jodhpur. He is also the Assistant Dean Research and the Clinician in Charge of the Pediatric Neurology Fellowship Programme at the institute. The award honours his work in advancing research and treatment in pediatric neurology.

The award has been instituted in memory of Dr. Aashrai Sai Venkat Gudlavalleti, a distinguished consultant neurologist in the United States.
