Hyderabad: A 23 year old woman died in a Hyderabad doctor suicide case reported from Alwal, police said on Saturday. The woman had completed her MBBS and was preparing for higher studies. Officers said the incident happened at her residence on Friday.
According to police, the woman had been keeping a pet cat for the past three months. However, her family reportedly objected to keeping the animal at home. Investigators said the disagreement continued for some time. Later, she died by suicide following the dispute.
Police confirmed that a case has been registered. Officials said further inquiry is underway. They are also recording statements from family members as part of the procedure.
