Two Arrested For Dangerous Bike Stunts Near Secretariat And Lumbini Park

Hyderabad, March 24 (Maxim News): Saifabad Police arrested two youths for performing dangerous bike stunts and creating public nuisance near Lumbini Park and the Telangana Secretariat. Their actions reportedly frightened commuters and created safety risks in a highsecurity zone.

Police identified the accused as Mohammed Akeel (19), a courier boy from Bolakpur in Musheerabad, and Mohammed Ateeq (22), a private employee from Aghapura in Nampally.

Performed stunts to gain social media attention

According to police, the duo frequently performed risky motorcycle stunts on busy public roads. They also filmed reels to post on social media. However, these actions endangered the lives of motorists and pedestrians.

Authorities said their activities caused fear among regular commuters. Moreover, the incidents took place near important government locations, which raised security concerns.

Police seize bikes and mobile phones

After receiving a tip off, Saifabad Police started monitoring their movements. Later, officers conducted a special operation and arrested both individuals. Police also seized their motorcycles and mobile phones used to record the stunt videos.

Following the arrest, the court sent the accused to judicial remand. Police have also registered a case and started further investigation.

Police warn against dangerous road behaviour

The operation took place under the supervision of SHO A. Seethaiah. SI V. Parameshwari led the investigation. Police personnel L. Sampath Kumar, B. Vijay Kumar, J. Lingaswamy and S. Mahesh assisted in the operation.

Police officials warned that they will take strict action against anyone performing dangerous stunts on public roads. They also advised youth not to risk lives for social media popularity.

Authorities said such enforcement drives will continue. The aim is to ensure public safety and prevent reckless behaviour on city roads.
