He added, “This marks the entry of KKL in Telangana region, thereby playing a significant role in bolstering the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative with local suppliers in India, bringing a change in how people commute, with range of electric vehicles that suit all type of riders; from young to old, youthful trendy buyers and comfort seekers to busy business riders”.
Meanwhile, ADAIKALAM SHANMUGAM said the long-term outlook remains strong. He stated, “However, the long- term story of India and that of the two-wheeler industry remains intact, strong and positive. There are ample growth opportunities in India to grow company’s EV business to new heights. We are following a market-specific strategy to further enhance our presence in markets in specific geographies. There is also a lot of pent-up demand momentum.”
The electric vehicle segment in Telangana is growing steadily. The state government is pushing policies for cleaner transport. Also, rising awareness and better infrastructure are helping EV adoption. Currently, EVs form just 1% of total vehicle sales. However, the two-wheeler segment dominates this space, creating strong business opportunities.

KKL plans to expand its dealership network in Telangana. The company aims to add around five dealerships per month from FY 2026–27. It will focus on cities with high two-wheeler demand. Dealers will manage infrastructure costs, while promotional expenses will be shared. The company will also offer incentives, along with after-sales services and spare parts support.
The Hyderabad dealership is operated by Naresh Dandu and Raju Dandu. The showroom is located beside an HP Petrol Pump in Gayathri Nagar near Karmanghat Hanuman Temple. KKL offers models such as GRETA, CREST, FINCH, SPARTAN, GREEN RIDER, and VESPER, priced between Rs 50,000 and Rs 1,50,000.
Looking ahead, KKL aims to open over 100 dealerships across South India in FY 2026–27. The company is also exploring partnerships and plans to set up a lithium-ion battery manufacturing unit and charging infrastructure in multiple cities.
