Women’s Quota Bill Will Be Discussed In Parliament From April 16th: PM Modi

Delhi/Hyderfabad, April 13 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Modi said that there are demands to implement the Women’s Empowerment Act by 2029 under any circumstances. He said that we have kept the 2029 deadline in mind, and as part of this, the Women’s Empowerment Act will be discussed in Parliament from April 16. He spoke at the Nari Shakti Vandana Sammelanam conference being held in Delhi. He said that the Women’s Empowerment Bill should be approved keeping in mind the efforts of everyone. He said that every woman in the country will be happy and every woman will benefit.

He said that the formulation of the Nari Shakti Vardhan Abhinayam Act is the most crucial aspect of the 21st century. He said that Parliament will be a platform to create a new history, keeping in mind the past vision and fulfilling the aspirations of the future. He said that all the Panchayati Raj systems in our country have become extraordinary platforms for women’s leadership. The Prime Minister said that he has not come here to spread awareness through speeches, but to seek the blessings of the women of this country. He said that Indian women have done a lot for this country. He said that everyone has been thinking for decades about providing reservation for women in a democratic system, and in 2023, all parties unanimously passed the Nari Shakti Vandana Abhinayam Bill.

Prime Minister Modi said that the opposition has strongly expressed its view that the Women’s Quota Bill should be implemented by 2029, but there should be a long discussion on the bill, cooperation and partnership. He said that studies have shown that if women’s participation in decision-making matters increases, the change in the system will be faster. He said that the role of women in the Jala Jeevan Mission is commendable. (Maxim News)
