Hyderabad, May 2 (Maxim News): NEET UG 2026 exam will be held across the country on May 3 with strict security measures in place. Authorities have imposed Section 163 near exam centres in Cyberabad to ensure smooth conduct.
National Testing Agency has completed all arrangements for conducting the nationwide medical entrance test. Around 22.79 lakh candidates will appear for the examination.
Officials said Section 163 will remain in force from 6 am to 6 pm on Sunday within Cyberabad Police Commissionerate limits. Therefore, gatherings near exam centres will be restricted.
NEET UG 2026 exam guidelines and restrictions
According to the notice, no more than five persons can assemble within 200 metres of exam centres. Moreover, groups and public gatherings are strictly prohibited in the vicinity.
In addition, all photocopy and internet centres within 100 metres of exam venues must remain closed. Authorities warned that violators will face strict legal action.
The NEET UG 2026 exam will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm. However, candidates must reach their centres at least 30 minutes early. Entry gates will close at 1.30 pm without exception.

Students must carry their admit cards and photographs for verification. Meanwhile, officials also advised candidates to prepare for possible rain and plan accordingly.
NEET UG serves as the gateway for admission into medical courses across India. Hence, authorities have tightened security and surveillance to prevent malpractice.

Police and exam officials urged the public to cooperate with restrictions. They emphasised that these measures aim to maintain fairness and safety during the examination.(Maxim News)
