Hyderabad, May 4: Padmarao Goud warns action over errors in voter list revision and directs officials to ensure smooth conduct of the Special Intensive Revision program. He stressed that authorities must include all eligible voters without fail.
Teegulla Padmarao Goud held a review meeting with GHMC officials at his camp office in Sitaphalmandi on Monday. The meeting focused on the ongoing voter list revision process.
He instructed officials to remove misconceptions among the public regarding the revision exercise. Moreover, he asked them to ensure that every eligible voter gets registered. He emphasized that officials must act carefully to avoid any mistakes.
Further, he directed officers to address voter concerns promptly. He said officials should create awareness and guide citizens through the correction process. As a result, voters can update their details without difficulty.
He also highlighted the role of Booth Level Officers in the process. Therefore, he asked officials to report any issues related to facilities or pending dues of BLOs to higher authorities. He stressed that proper support will improve efficiency.
In addition, he instructed authorities to take all precautions to prevent deletion of eligible names. He made it clear that any negligence will invite serious action. This, he said, will ensure accountability in the process.
Officials including Tarnaka Circle Deputy Commissioner Sudhir Singh and other staff attended the meeting. Local leaders and former corporators also participated and reviewed progress.
Overall, Padmarao Goud reiterated the importance of a transparent and accurate voter list. He urged officials to work responsibly and complete the revision without errors.
