Hyderabad, May 5 (Maxim News): Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday demanded a thorough investigation into the killing of a Maulana on a moving train and urged authorities to treat the incident as a hate crime.
Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, Owaisi said he has written to the Union Railway Minister seeking immediate action. He stressed that the incident raises serious concerns about passenger safety on trains.
Moreover, Owaisi called for strict accountability. He said law enforcement agencies must identify and punish those responsible without delay. He added that justice must be ensured to prevent such incidents in the future.
He also emphasized that crimes targeting individuals based on identity must not be ignored. He said authorities should classify the case appropriately if evidence supports a hate crime angle.

Furthermore, Owaisi highlighted the need for stronger security measures on trains. He said passengers must feel safe while traveling across the country. He urged the railway administration to review safety protocols and improve surveillance.
