Hyderabad, May 5: Iran UAE attack has drawn strong condemnation from India after drone strikes hit the Fujairah oil hub. Prime Minister Narendra Modi termed the targeting of civilians and infrastructure unacceptable.
According to official information, the attack injured three Indian nationals working at the facility. Therefore, the incident has raised serious concerns over safety in the region.

In a statement, Modi said India strongly condemns the strikes carried out by Iran on the oil hub in Fujairah. Moreover, he stressed that attacks on civilian infrastructure violate international norms.
He also stated that India stands firmly with the United Arab Emirates during this difficult time. At the same time, he called for restraint and urged both sides to resolve tensions through dialogue.
Furthermore, Modi highlighted the importance of safe and uninterrupted movement through the Strait of Hormuz. He said stability in this region is vital for global energy security.
Earlier, the Ministry of External Affairs also condemned the attack. It described such actions as inappropriate and stressed the need for peaceful resolution. Meanwhile, Indian embassy officials in the UAE are ensuring medical care for the injured citizens.
In addition, officials noted that the attack occurred despite a ceasefire understanding. Therefore, it has intensified concerns about escalating tensions in West Asia.
