Hyderabad Police | Hyderabad, May 11 (Maxim News): The Chilkalguda Police solved the sensational murder case of Bommana Yavan alias Akhil, a 21 year old third year BTech student, and arrested 10 accused persons involved in the crime. Police said the murder was a cold blooded and pre planned attack carried out over a personal grudge linked to a love affair.
The incident took place on May 7 at around 9.45 pm at Indira Nagar Colony in Medibavi under Chilkalguda police station limits. According to investigators, around 10 accused persons hatched a conspiracy and attacked Yavan with deadlyweapons, including a knife, causing severe injuries to his neck and other vital body parts before fleeing the scene.
Secunderabad Zone DCP Rakshitha Krishna Murthy addressed the media and revealed key details of the investigation. She said the accused had been tracking the victim’s movements for several days before executing the murder plan.

Police identified Allaboina Sai Kiran as the prime accused. He is a private employee and a rowdy sheeter under Chilkalguda police station limits. Investigators said Yavan was in a long term relationship with a woman named Chandrika. Sai Kiran allegedly intended to marry her and developed a deep grudge against the victim.
Police said the accused held a conspiracy meeting at Medibavi four to five days before the murder. They allegedly kept constant surveillance on Yavan and planned the attack carefully.

Among the arrested accused, Rajam Vamshi Krishna was identified as the principal assailant. The other arrested persons are Rajam Paramesh Kumar Yadav alias Don, Rajam Manish alias Bichu, Srigiri Rahul, Kuchula Shiva Nandan Yadav, Rajam Narsimha Yadav, Rajam Srisailam Yadav and Rajam Mallesh Yadav alias Mallanna. One juvenile in conflict with law was also detained and produced before the court.
Based on a complaint filed by the victim’s father Srinivas, police registered a case under Sections 103(1), 189(1)(4), 191(3) read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
During the investigation, police recovered the knife used in the murder, blood stained clothes, an electric scooter and several mobile phones used during the crime.
The arrests were carried out under the supervision of DCP Rakshitha Krishna Murthy, Additional DCP J Narsaiah and ACP Shashank Reddy. Chilkalguda Inspector Ramakrishna, Detective Inspector Madhu and the crime staff played a key role in tracing and arresting the accused.
Hyderabad Police warn against revenge attacks
Following the murder, Hyderabad Police issued a strict warning against any revenge attacks or attempts to disturb public peace. Officials said there would be zero tolerance towards vigilantism or intimidation by supporters, relatives or associates of either side.
Police also warned that social media platforms are under constant monitoring. Strict action would be taken against individuals spreading provocative messages, communal content or posts glorifying violence.
Officials stated that the investigation is being conducted scientifically using CCTV footage, technical evidence and digital surveillance. Police assured that justice would be delivered strictly through the legal process. (Maxim News)
