Hyderabad, May 14 (Maxim News): A 36 year old woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a bathroom located on the terrace of a ladies hostel in Madhura Nagar on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred within the limits of the Madhura Nagar Police Station.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Idupalli Haritha, a native of Vijayawada Urban area in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.
Haritha had shifted to Hyderabad nearly 10 years ago for work.
She earned her livelihood by doing mehendi and other work for women while staying at Bhargavi Ladies Hostel in Madhura Nagar.
Police said Haritha was residing in a room located on the terrace of the hostel building.
According to police officials, the hostel owner noticed a foul smell coming from the terrace bathroom on Wednesday evening.
When the owner checked the bathroom, Haritha was found lying unconscious inside.
The hostel management immediately alerted the police.
After receiving information, police teams reached the spot and examined the body.
Officials noticed an injury on the back side of her head during the preliminary inspection.
Haritha’s mother informed police that her daughter had been suffering from thyroid related health issues and obesity.
She also reportedly remained unwell for the last three days.
Police suspect that Haritha may have slipped due to health complications and suffered a fatal head injury after falling inside the bathroom.

Investigators believe the death may have occurred nearly two to three days earlier as very few people visited the terrace area regularly.
Police registered a suspicious death case and started an investigation to ascertain the exact circumstances behind the incident.
The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital on Thursday for postmortem examination.
